Case Study

Analysis – Interactive Finish Selection Experience
We designed a tactile and responsive visualization system that bridges the physical and digital worlds. By combining RFID technology with real-time 3D rendering, users can instantly explore kitchen finish combinations by placing real material samples onto a reader surface.
This creates an intuitive and memorable product selection experience for showrooms, retail environments, exhibitions, and sales presentations.
Real-Time Visualization
Instant Material Updates: Kitchen finishes change in real time as soon as RFID-tagged samples are detected.
Optimized 3D Rendering: High-quality materials and textures run smoothly on touchscreen displays and desktop systems.
Low Latency Interaction: Immediate feedback creates a natural and engaging user experience.
Scalable Architecture: The system can expand to support more materials, product models, and environments.
Responsiveness is essential for interactive showroom experiences. The system is designed to operate seamlessly across touchscreens, kiosks, desktop displays, and tablets.
Whether used in a retail store or at an event, users enjoy fast interactions, intuitive controls, and smooth transitions between finish combinations.

Problem – Traditional Finish Selection Process
Choosing kitchen finishes traditionally relies on separate catalogs, loose samples, and imagination. Customers often struggle to visualize how wood finishes and stone countertops will look together in a final kitchen setup.
This leads to:
Slower decision-making
Uncertainty during purchase
Dependence on sales staff explanations
Limited engagement with static samples
Difficulty comparing combinations quickly
Customer Experience Challenges
Modern customers expect interactive and immersive buying experiences. Traditional sales tools often fail to communicate premium finishes and design possibilities effectively.
Solution – RFID Powered Kitchen Configurator
We developed an interactive kitchen visualization platform where users place real material samples onto an RFID reader to instantly update the digital kitchen model.
Physical Samples Meet Real-Time Visualization
Wood samples update cabinet fronts, panels, and kitchen surfaces, while stone samples instantly change countertops and islands. This creates a tactile and intuitive selection process where users can touch authentic finishes and immediately see the final result on screen.
Designed for showrooms, retail spaces, and exhibitions, the system includes RFID integration, sample mapping, branded interface design, hardware setup, and deployment support.
